About

Legends Way Farm is dedicated to promoting and breeding endangered Cleveland Bay horses. With less than 500 of these magnificent horses left worldwide, the farm’s business goal is to educate, showcase, and offer breeding services to the public. Legends Way also offers full and partial boarding of horses as well.

Legends Way Farm is situated in Umatilla, Florida and borders the Ocala National Forest. It is owned and operated by Stephanie Sutch. Stephanie has grown up with horses and Cleveland Bays. She grew up competing hunters and jumpers, and currently competes in distance riding and dressage. She was first introduced to the breed by her mother, Sandy Sullivan, who has always had Cleveland Bays and a love for the breed.

Stephanie’s professional background is in education and history. She has a Bachelors in History, and worked at the Florida Carriage Museum and Resort as their education coordinator and museum historian. In her years of service there, she developed numerous presentations and exhibits concerning the history of the horse and its role in shaping human societies and authored various articles on the subject. She has sat on the board of directors for the South Eastern Distance Riding Association, the Florida Horsemen’s Association, and the Cleveland Bay Horse Society of North America.
